 Five Nights at Freddy's, the Good Bad and Ugly. This post will contain spoilers for the FNAF movie Ahh yes the game that scarred all of our childhoods. Its the reason I will never go back to Chuckey Cheese's, and its one of the highest grossing horror game franchises of all time. Unfortunately the movie did not have as much luck as the games.  Plot 3/10 This videogame series had one of the most in-depth plot lines of any videogame ever created. I was hoping that would shine into the movies, unfortunately the plot was confusing, irrational, and broke the lore of the FNAF universe. When thinking of the many plot holes giving this movie a 3/10 is generous. There was no reason to include the custody battle, the fist security guard was useless, and Elizabeth Afton was keeping secrets for no reason.  Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse is the best Spider-Man movie...and it's not even close! The Spider-Man movies have been a cultural icon for generations from toby maguire to newer stars like Tom Holland it is safe to say Spider-Man is everyone's favorite web-slinging superhero. After Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse hit record heights it was clear Sony had done it right. This movie had a lot of pressure to perform just as well as its first part, and it smashed expectations and received the highest ratings for any Spider-Man film ever released.   Plot (10/10) Absolutely perfect. For a movie that was supposed to be made for kids, the plot was shockingly complex and unpredictable. The writers painted a perfect picture and created an amazing web of plotlines. This is seriously one of the best plots I have ever seen and it shattered every expectation I had going into this movie. A Man Called Otto: Movie Review

 A Man Called Otto: The Megar Man, With The Mighty Purpose. Tom Hanks has been in a shocking number of hit movies and has played an enormous variety of characters from Woody in Toy Story to the kid in Polar Express. Even with the massive collection of personalities he has played on screen, I thought this one seemed out of place for his acting style. I could not have been more wrong. Did I mention this movie was nominated for 10 Oscars? The Plot (10/10) For those of you who do not know, this movie is about an elderly man named Otto who is a widower. He is introduced as stern and grumpy and even suicidal. He does not like anyone and nobody seems to like him. All of this changes when he gets a new set of neighbors who are not as rule-following as he would like. Throughout the course of the movie, the old stern man softens up and becomes a joyful soul.  Dungeons and Dragons Movie: Why It Missed The Mark Dungeons and Dragons is a world-renowned game first made in 1974, since then it has taken the gaming world by storm. Boasting 13.7 million players worldwide in 2022 anything associated with this game has very high expectations. This movie had all the resources in the world and rolled a nat 1 for almost every category.  The Plot (3/10) The plot was ok at best. It went in more directions than I can count for a movie that is only 2hr 14min. The movie was simultaneously the most predictable movie I have ever watched, and the most confusing plot I have ever tried to understand. Most of the movie seemed to be just filler for the final scene and none of it seemed particularly connected.  The Theme (8/10) Surprisingly the theme was pretty clear. The Super Mario Bros Movie Review

 The Super Mario Bros Movie: Breaking Box Office Records and Spotify Charts (There will be a couple of spoilers, get over it) This movie has broken the box office with a shocking 1.2 Billion dollars worldwide. It is currently the highest-performing movie in 2023 and Jack Black's hit song 'Peaches' is eligible for a Grammy. 'Peaches' is currently #65 in the world on Spotify! With all that hype It's tough for a movie to live up to the high expectations.  The Plot 4/10 The plot was a rollercoaster. It seemed haphazard and disconnected in some parts, but in others, it seemed to be written by Shakespeare himself. To be fair this movie had a runtime of 1hr 32m which is not a lot. Another thing to be said is that this movie is made for kids so the plot doesn't necessarily need to be there, but come on.  John Wick 4 Why it was the Perfect Addition to the Series The john wick movies are some of the best action movies in Hollywood. They have continually set the standards for fighting on screen and achieved high ratings when doing it. John Wick 4 is no exception. Where it lacked in plot it made up for in killing.  The Plot 5/10 This should come as no surprise. When a movie boasts a kill count of over 140 people there is not much time for a sufficient plot. The john wick series is not known for having great plot points so this movie stayed on brand. They developed the characters and the plot of the series in a good way but it was fairly predictable and lacked luster. The Theme 4/10  You do not go to a John Wick movie and expect a good theme. There is little to no moral present and no overarching theme other than killing. This is to be expected.  Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, Why it's a Masterpiece of Cinema and Marvel's Return. (No Spoilers) If you are like me, you think Marvel has been in a slump lately. With the release of shows like She-Hulk and Ms.Marvel that dawned the lowest ratings in the history of Marvel, things were not looking good for the MCU. Guardians 3 had all eyes on it and Marvel had to make a comeback. Let me tell you they did.  The Plot 9/10 This movie has a very interesting and complex plot. From beginning to end the movie has amazing plot points accompanied by a fair amount of plot twists sure to keep the whole audience guessing. There were a few notable plot holes that I will not dive into in an effort to avoid spoiling anything.
